Rerum specializes in crafting decorative objects that celebrate authenticity and the beauty of imperfection. Each piece is designed with a thoughtful approach, blending artisanal techniques and refined aesthetics to create objects that resonate with individuality and character. Inspired by natural forms and the charm of irregularities, the designs emphasize textures, materials, and details that evoke a sense of timelessness. By highlighting imperfections, the studio seeks to redefine perfection, offering products that are not only functional but also deeply meaningful and unique. Committed to authenticity and craftsmanship, the studio's creations invite a deeper connection with the objects that surround us, enriching spaces with their understated elegance and soulful presence.

Each piece is a singular expression of the materials’ natural origins, shaped by the geological forces of time and transformation. Lava stone, with its rich colors ranging from deep charcoal to earthy reds and ochres, derives its hues from the oxidation and mineral variety present in the molten rock as it cools and solidifies. Limestone, in contrast, offers a softer palette of cream, beige, and subtle greys, marked by fossil imprints and delicate veining. These unique characteristics ensure that no two sculptures are ever identical, making each an irreplicable masterpiece.

The three designs can be crafted using the stone of your choice, with production times varying between 4 to 6 weeks depending on the availability of the material.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that each sculpture will feature unique, uncontrollable imperfections inherent to the natural characteristics of the stone. The organic imperfections — veins, voids, textures, and subtle tonal variations — are not to be considered flaws, since they ensure that no two sculptures are ever the same, even when reproduced in a shared design.
